As with anything else in life, there is always going to be a best of the best list for games. PC games are no different. And while these lists are purely subjective, what follows are some of the games that most, if not all, die hard game players feel are some of the best PC games ever released. We’ll present a few of them and a brief description of each. You can venture out to pick up one or more of these titles feeling comfortable that many before you have enjoyed them.
“Return To Castle Wolfenstein” was voted PC game of the year when it was released so there had to be something good about it. The original was one of the first person shooter games, meaning that you saw everything from your own perspective. The action was fast and furious and was hard as heck. If you want a real challenge in knocking off the bad guys, this game will give it to you in spades.
“Ultima Underworld” was released in 1992. This game was so many years ahead of its time that it was a joke. It had one of the most complex and rich story lines of any PC game ever released. And even though graphically it isn’t up to the standards of today’s games, it is still one of the most fascinating adventure games of all time.
“Civilization” was released in 1991. This game is the ultimate in long term play. The premise is simple. You begin a civilization back during a time when you didn’t have electricity or any of the modern conveniences we have today. If you were lucky, you watched your civilization grow over a period of hundreds of years. This is one game that you could literally play for months, if not years on end. One of the most popular games ever.
“Pirates!” was released in 1988, which by today’s standards was pretty much in the stone ages of PC games. Still, this was one of the most fascinating games of all time. You started the game as an ordinary citizen. You could be French, Spanish, Dutch or English. Your task was to rescue your long lost sister. So, you took your pirate ship, got your crew together and went off to find her. The adventure that followed was nothing short of brilliant. This is one game that you will never tire of playing.
But what many people believe to be the best PC game ever made and again this is purely subjective, is the title X-COM: UFO Defense, which was released in 1994. The premise of this game is very simple. The Earth is about to be invaded by aliens so you have to gather a bunch of alien hunters to hold off the invasion. While the premise of the game may have been simple, the actual game itself was anything but, as you had to go through an enormous amount of work just to reach the point of defending the Earth, including building and equipping a base, building a radar station, buy enough equipment to survive the battle and then finally send your soldiers into battle. If aliens landed in a certain area and you did nothing about it, that area would cut off your funding. If you want to play a game that is incredibly challenging, X-COM: UFO Defense is one that will not disappoint you.

Andrew Fox burst on the affiliate marketing scene a couple years ago with his initial release of Dominating Clickbank and now, his sequel – Dominating Clickbank 2 – is destined to set records and rock the affiliate marketing world again.
But is Andrew’s Dominating Clickbank 2 system worth the investment? Here is my inside take:
What is especially refreshing about Andrew Fox’s Dominating Clickbank 2 system is he tells it like it is. No fluff, no filler and no private label rewrites to beef up a weak product. Jeff simply shares what eight years of affiliate marketing experience has taught him and he isn’t shy about telling readers exactly what it takes to build a profitable online business. Including, but not limited to… work!
So the downside is, if you are new to the world of internet affiliate marketing, Dominating CB 2 may overwhelm you.
The good news is Andrew does break down the seemingly daunting task of building a real, high profitable business into bit-sized chucks.
You get SIX step-by-step videos:
Dominating Clickbank 2 – Bonuses
Invest in the Dominating Clickbank 2 system and you also get a complete copy of Andrew Fox’s original work: Dominating Clickbank, consisting of nine additional step-by-step videos, templates, and keen insights. Combine the two systems – new and old – and I don’t think you would ever need to purchase another “How to Make Money Affiliate Marketing” if you made a commitment to follow through and take action.
Dominating Clickbank 2 – Monthly Coaching
Is the monthly coaching upgrade worth it? Usually not. Because in many cases the private membership material is the same material presented in a different format.
But NOT SO in this case.
Andrew Fox really goes over and beyond in his membership area. In fact, there is so much advanced information available, again, you risk getting overwhelmed. So while you are encouraged to upgrade, you are also encourage to not access the materials until you need to. Access the materials only when you need to learn the finer details about taking the next step in the Dominating Clickbank system. In other words, don’t just go in and try to consume everything. Follow the BLUEPRINT and access the membership materials as you need them.
Bottom line? If you are ready to start a real business and put in the effort to make it happen, Andrew Fox’s Dominating Clickbank 2 may be just what the doctor ordered.

Flying Saucer Review
How can I make an external hard drive wireless?
I have an external hard drive where I keep all my music, so do not use all the space on my laptop. However, kind of defeats the purpose of having a laptop if I have to keep Wired for all time. My laptop The MacBook Pro is an external hard drive has a USB connection. I've been looking at various accessories, but I'm not sure that really going to do the job. * Apple Airport Express (This my first choice if it does what I want) Apple M8799LL / A AirPort Extreme Base Station with Modem and Antenna Port (That looks like a flying saucer) Apple MB763LL / A dual-band AirPort Extreme Base Station (The newest that just looks like a rectangle – Although tests have not been very good at it), also I'm for suggestions for other ways to make wireless outside PS: My wireless router has no USB ports
So if you do not want to buy another computer and have running 24 / 7, we suggest that you upgrade your hard drive in the MacBook Pro one of those 500GB drives and store files and backup copies of music on the external drive. Your right, the external HD does beat the purpose of having a laptop, so use them to back up our systems of important things. You may consider getting a small USB flash drive – 8 or 16 GB to store your favorite music while on the move there. Personally, I have a computer portable, but for home I have a PC with an Intel Q9550 with a 6TB NAS Netgear connected to all of our computers.
UFO Conspiracies
Why abductions and even?
political conspiracy theories considered derisory and the people who believe in them healers, but religion and its followers are given a little respect for their beliefs preposterous? If anyone believed that Jesus was a traveler between dimensions would be a weirdo, but if you believe the Red Sea parted're just a person of faith.
Because Jesus has been around forever … and people are afraid that Jesus / God can be real so pray, and do not scoff at all these other "charlatans." Not exactly the "proof" of God, but not exactly evidence of UFOs and whatever, either. Like the spelling (a type Bill Mahr?) Said, how can you believe that a man created the world and all that / on / around it and is in control of all things, but you can not believe there is a fat man in a red suit comes with the delivery of his magical reindeer for everyone on the planet in one night? "Because we've done so Santa" was the reply of a man. And Bill said, "Who said that God did not make up?" It is a point of each property, but I believe in God. Partly for fear that it could be real, but mostly because it was like I was raised. I'm 15 in case you were wondering. I say things like this and people think I'm in my 30s.

This week I had my socks knocked off! Which, after being in the industry for over 25 years, is tough to do. I came across a posting on Slashdot about a new mapping application from Google called GoogleEarth. At first my thinking was that this was just another extension of the already cool Google Maps online. But then I discovered that it was a downloadable client application. Humm. So I took the plunge. Then I lost over 4 hours of productivity for that day. (And I won’t mention how much since then.) And everyone I showed it to that day ended up gawking and drooling as well.GoogleEarth is a new application that jumps leaps and bounds over what we used to consider to be mapping applications. GoogleEarth takes the geo topology data from the satellites and turns it into a earth wide mapping application. Not just pretty pictures! But true mapping functionality layered on top of the pretty pictures. As these screen shots can attest, the capabilities of this application are amazing! Some of the incredible features of GoogleEarth are: Pushpins can be added to the map with notes about the location.
Once you have several pushpins, you can right click and select “Directions from this…” then “Directions to this…”, and receive driving directions between the two points. Then, you can have GoogleEarth drive from point A to point B with the “Play Tour” button. Then drool some more as GoogleEarth flys above the entire course.
Layers, Layers, and more Layers! Want to see all the street names? Just turn on the “Roads” checkbox. How about the local grocery store? Just click on the “Grocery Stores” checkbox in the Layers window. Little shopping carts appear on the map. Just a small sample of what’s avalable in the layers is: City Boundaries, Postal Code Boundaries, Railroads, Water, Coffee Houses, Malls, and much more! Want to see some buildings? GoogleEarth allows you to see computer generated buildings with their true form and shape for various major cities. You should see Las Vegas!
Another great jaw dropping feature is the ability to “Tilt” the perspective. You can change your view all the way down to the surface and then pan around in all directions to get the sense of how things look. I could go on for several thousand words about all the features included in GoogleEarth! Oh, and did I mention that it’s FREE?
There are several versions of the application but the Free version is the one that will suit the needs of most individuals. But, for just a minor $20 cost, you can add support for GPS, spreadsheet importing, path drawing, and annotations. There is also a $400 Professional version which provides the ability to import site plans and use the business related features. The ART of Software Development in GoogleEarth is in the innovation that the Google folks have introduced in this technology, and making it available to everyone on the internet. Being able to go and visit a location that you’ve never been to before, can be a great comfort before going on your planned trips. Or you can just do some virtual sight seeing in exotic locations. I spent over an hour just flying around Hong Kong! GoogleEarth has a very easy to use interface. And the streaming data from their servers was a lot faster than I would have expected for the quality of mapping that’s being presented. (I am on DSL.) Keep in mind though that GoogleEarth is CPU Intensive! The faster the PC the better. While GoogleEarth might work with dialup, I expect that the data stream would present some long waits for zoomed in details.
Be forewarned! When you download and start using GoogleEarth, be prepared to spend some time exploring. You’ll find yourself going back to it every chance you get, just to explore new areas. And be sure to email me if you see any alien space ships at Area 51!

The RV6 aircraft kit sold by Van’s Aircraft Inc. of Aurora Oregon is possibly the greatest aircraft ever. The total performance package of the RV6 combines STOL, aerobatic capabilities to and ultimate load of 9G’s, ability to climb, and overall cleanliness as far as aerodynamics.
Richard VanGrunsven is the mastermind behind the Van’s RV Series aircraft, and has continued to improve upon his initial RV3 single seat design. After the RV3, came the RV4 (tandem) which was a great plane by its own rights. The performance of Van’s incredible wing became the foundation of a continuing series of fine aircraft. The next in the series were the RV6 and RV6A. The RV6 was Van’s first side by side aircraft which allowed for more panel space, and surprisingly enough, did not tax the overall performance of the aircraft. Continuing to meet the demands of the ever increasing experimental market however, Richard moved ahead with his first tricycle gear, and the RV6A was born. A huge success! The RV6A met the demand for many pilots who were reluctant to transition to a “taildragger.”
Flying a tail-wheel aircraft is not much different than flying a nose-wheel aircraft. The difference (and inherent difficulty) comes by way of take-off and landing a “taildragger.” Once Van’s addressed this area of the market, they continued to ramp up production as the orders began to flow in steadily. Of course, Mr. VanGrunsven was not one to settle, so he began to tally the comments of RV6 builders and pilots to see what other improvements could be made. After careful review and the purchase of computer controlled machinery, the RV7 and RV7A were born. Today, Van’s touts the RV7 and RV7A as their ultimate aircraft.
The RV Series are part of the experimental aircraft category recognized by the FAA. The experimental category requires that the builder complete 51% or more of the project, and building and RV6 definitely requires that. The project takes the average builder about 2000 hours to complete, and involves many additional purchases. Besides the airframe, the builder needs to buy an engine, avionics, propeller, interior, and of course a paint job (many do this themselves however.)
If you’re considering building an RV6 or RV6A, the rewards are great. However, the reality is, that most first time builders never finish their projects. Countless hours of frustration and a few thousand dollars are initially invested, but then many simply throw in the towel once they see the magnitude of the project. If you stick with it however, in a few years you will have a wonderful plane to fly for many years.
Another option that you might consider, is purchasing an RV6A that is already built. Most RV’s sell for what the actual parts cost to build the aircraft, with nothing charges for the labor. It’s kind of like having someone build the plane for you for free. I built a beautiful one myself and know the feeling. You can check it out at my site called AirborneUSA.

Alienware Area-51 m9750 good for gaming, hobbies, and school?
i think i’ve found my dream computer- the Alienware Area-51 m9750. but, i have to make sure about a few things. is it only good for gaming (i really only play runescape. but sometimes i like to play the sims 2. if i didnt have just a computer that messed up all the time i would play a lot more games), or will i be able to use it for gaming, school, and my hobbies (watching anime, looking up stuff about my fave shows, and drawing. i draw it by hand, scan it, then color it using Gimp 2.0)
and, is it worth the price of $1399? it seems like it to me, but i havent done a whole lot of research on it recently.
btw, i just bought a liteon external dvd/cd burner. it requires 9 MB for it to burn dvds. will i be able to do it on the Alienware Area-51 m9750? i kno it comes with a dvd/cd burner, but my external one has lightscribe =p
thanks!
oh yah, i dont want a desktop because i need the portable-ness. so, please dont suggest getting one
If all you are really playing is Runescape and other low end games like that, you can get away with a much lost cost Dell. Don’t pay extra for an alien logo, it’s just a waste of money. Look at the programs you use, determine system requirements and work from there. Only thing I would say for sure if make sure you have 2GB of RAM at least. Windows (32-bit) can only utilize a little under 4GB so 2-4 would be fine.

The majority of Mayan pyramids are temples to the spirits and not the burial tombs like the great pyramids of Egypt. These temple pyramids typically comprised one or more rooms. However, the areas were so confined that they may well simply have been used during ritualistic occasions and were not designed for community use. Even though Mayan occasionally entombed there their leaders they consistently placed the temple at the top of the Mayan pyramids. For the most part, these pyramids possessed a platform on the top on which was erected into a smaller structure, devoted to any of the Mayan gods.
The old Mayan Pyramids are representative of great marvel and secrecy and they are located from Central US to as far a field as the Indonesian island of Java. The Pyramids are a monument to their developed controlled mastery; the intricacy of their construction and their connection to planetal movement have frequently caused many speculations as to their real beginnings. The structures are impressive in their own right and exactly as with the Egyptian pyramids it is not recognized exactly how they were constructed.
Mayans are people that originate from the southern region of Mexico and the northerly area of Central America. Mayan pyramids, in reality, were constructed in a broad diversity of forms to function as a extensive assortment of roles, aside from righteous ones, according to the customs of each area as well as the time period. Mayan cosmogony and legend show a great amount about the start of this civilization, their ideologies and customs and according to archaeological suggestion, it has been revealed that the ancient Mayans started erecting their distinctive ceremonial buildings, recognized as Mayan Pyramids or Pyramid Temples, around 3,000 years ago.
They were at first purely burial rises, the predecessors of the imposing stepped pyramids that originated from the Terminal Pre Classic era and even earlier. To the Mayans, their pyramids additionally symbolized mountains, while their temples at the top of the Mayan pyramids represented caverns that led to the the land of the dead, while the openings were indicative of the apertures of beasts, and consequently were adorned with symbols and pictures as a result.
