can i get dual citizenship to england?
Hi,
So my mom was born in England and is currently seen as an “Alien” in the US, I was born in the US but i was wondering if perhaps i could gain dual citizenship to England. I am still under 18, and hope to maybe live in Europe some time.
Has anyone gone through this process before? Or can someone direct me somehow?

It should be possible. Contact the British Embassy and ask them for advice. Only some countries allow dual citizenship, but most that only allow one allow you to choose which parent’s nationality you wish to have, but this is a once only, irrevokable choice so take legal advice before proceeding.
