Should Latin American countries compensate the State of California for taking care of its illegal immigrants?
The State of California is spending billions and billions of dollars providing housing and healthcare for illegal aliens from Mexico and other countries in Central America. Illegal immigrants have done no better other than bringing crime and drug problems to the state. Do you think its better to pressure those governments to make them compensate for bringing financial burdens not only to California but to other states burdened with high illegal immigrant populations?
Yeah sounds great but those countries don’t have the money. And even if they did, they wouldn’t pay up.
Our best bet is increasing border security and cutting expensive state programs that cater to illegals.
