Each of the four suits of minor Arcana in a Tarot corresponds to an element. It is by the study of these elements that we can realize the true value of the predictions of the Tarot. The four elements are Earth, Water, Fire and Air and they are corresponding to the four suits of the minor Arcana. You can attribute any suit to any element as per your intuition but the convention is to attribute Pentacles to Earth, Cups to Water, Wands to Fire and Swords to Air. The significance of each of these conventional attributes is described here in this article.

The Earth

The Earth is conventionally attributed to the Pentacles suits. They are also sometimes attributed to suits such as Disks, coins and Deniers. The dominion of the Earth element covers the earthly materialistic matters like family, money, domesticity, business, material security etc. The other elements are said to rest upon Earth element because on the foundation of the Earth elements the other elements are constructed. The Earth element is of course also related to the natural world, the mother earth, so it also represents life and fertility. The concepts of seasonal cycles and the cycle of life are also connected to Earth. Men with the earth element predominant in them are practical and steady; women with the predominant earth element are quiet, gentle and comfortable in a domestic life. The mundane money matters such as a pay rise etc. are related to earth.

The Water

The special feelings like intuition, instincts, dream interpretation etc come under water. The dreams and visions and the inner conscience of human beings are connected to water. Water is a strange element in itself. It feels up the dimensions of our mind, connects our dreams to reality and can be turbulent as well as gentle. Water sweeps across reason and gives shape to reason both. If we see the great oceans we can understand the strange vast nature of water. It is also not a mere coincidence that eighty percent of the Earth is covered with water and eighty percent of our body is also covered with water. Our bodies thus become miniature representation of the earth itself and we go through the different emotions just as the Earth goes through the cycle of seasons and the cycle of day and night. The water element is also related with aspects such as love, hate, joy, happiness, sadness and creativity. Water is related to artistic aspects such as poetry, music and other arts.

The Fire

The element of fire represents our inherent will power. The energy to do something, the ambition to achieve, all are parts of the element of fire. Fire is also related to protection and warmth in relationships. Fire is an active element as it guides our True will actively to our destinations. Fire fills our self with energy and brightness, achieve our realizations and make our dream come true.

The Air

The Air or the swords suit is connected to intellect and reason. It covers thought and the application of thought on our daily lives. It is the link to emotional conflict and it follows the rule of consequences. What that means that if you are bad to someone, it will find a way to come back to you. This is governed by the air.

1. Resident Evil 4 is a side person view (almost near first person) and it’s AWESOME (and for PS2 lol).

3. No it’s not, but you can get GTA San Andreas, Vice City, Liberty City Stores, and III. Those are available for PS2.

Name of the documentary about the how the pyramids were built?

A couple of years ago, I saw a documentary, it probably would have been on either the History or Discovery channel(s), that investigated the history and methodology of how the Egyptian pyramids were built.
Part of it was on location in Egypt and even demonstrated how the stones would have been cut and transported; and much of the details suggested the process was (relatively) easier than some would think (particularly the alien conspiracy theorists)
