Anyone who has seen the movie Signs?
I absolutely love the movie Signs and I have it memorized but what I can never figure out is… Right after the alien grabs Morgan, and he’s breathing roughly, and after Graham is done telling God he hates him, he seems almost to be quoting something, he’s saying “The air is coming. BELIEVE the air is coming. Feel my chest breathe like me. Together, the air goes in. Together.” Something like that, and I don’t know what it is. Merrill is mouthing the words with him, like they’ve heard this before, like it’s something they both remember. Does anyone know if that’s from another movie, or maybe even if it’s something they had to learn in case Morgan ever had an asthma attack????

You’ve memorized the movie, so you know Graham quit the Ministry after his wife was killed, and
he blamed God. When the Alien “gassed” Morgan, and they all got outside….the only thing that
Graham could think of was saving his son. So, he kind of prayed, “The poison didn’t get into his
lungs…breathe with me…come on…in, out, in, out…breathe Morgan.” Then, he says (like he’s
talking to God), “Please don’t take him, too.” Just then, Morgan sputters, and they quickly give
his atomizer to him……and, Graham resumes his preaching position.
