It’s been quite long since the X Files was first launched. Chris Carter was the master mind behind this famous TV series and his idea was to launch a conspiracy based series on a weekly basis. It was in 1993 that the series first hit the TV screens and since then the two main stars of the series Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny became household names.
Like with any other TV series, in the first season the X Files episode were all about setting the scene for the series and developing the theme of the series which later would become a part of the show. Even in the first season there were many popular characters that made a comeback in the later series every now and then like Deep Throat played by Jerry Hardin. In the first season the episodes were all stand alone ones that later became intertwining story lines.
Over the other seasons too there were many memorable episodes. In season one episode 17 is quite interesting. It features an increase in the UFO sightings and an attack on a truck and a suspicion that an alive alien is being transported through the country. Scully is unaware that Deep Throat and Lone Gunmen are involved and thinks there is a more explanation for the happenings. In season 3, the Wetwired episode reveals that there is a scam in which television signals are being used to control the mind of the watchers and influence them in quite a major way.
In season nine there are several other interesting episodes like the episode 20, The Truth in which Mulder is rescued by an unexpected person. Mulder heads towards southwest rather than crossing the border for safety. He is search of a mysterious man at the Anasazi ruins who is known to be quite wise and it is believed that he has answers to many secrets.
In the history of television, no other series had been successful enough to take science, fiction and reality to such a height as the X Files. The X Files managed to bring together elements of paranormal, science and fiction in a cohesive story line. Ever since it had been launched, the series had managed to rope in millions of viewers, unsurprisingly. Episode after episode, new dramas unfold, new occurrences and strange happenings take place while Mulder and Scully try to solve the clues and save the day.
