Modern Alien movies broke away from the traditional concept in the 1970′s with the release of the movie “Alien”. It later followed with a second movie called “Aliens” and continues later with many more movies with the focus on the same alien creature.
In the 1980′s a second very popular alien movie released to theaters worldwide. The Predator movie took the alien creature beyond the typical creature whose nature is to kill, to a creature of intelligence that hunts as humans do.
The Predator alien was another movie that took its focus away from the typical alien movie and added the element of intelligence. It drew the audience in with its storyline of an alien that matched the human intelligence and love of hunting. Predators choose to hunt for sport, yet there are times when they kill for survival. Depending on the kind of ceremony, the Predator will go about the hunt differently. Â
The battle between humans and Predator ended with humans prevailing, yet these were just young Predators who were not well-trained in battle. Predators are sent to earth to prove themselves. Once they prove their worthiness, they are then looked upon as adults.
To help them on their journey, Predators carry an arsenal of weapons. Each weapon is synchronized to the Predator’s face plate. When the Predator wishes to use his weapon, all he needs to do is focus his attention on a subject and the weapon will automatically lock and fire.
The weapons he carries are light, yet extremely powerful. He also carries a special self-destruct weapon that releases a nuclear explosion equivalent to the human’s atomic bomb. This weapon is only used as a last-ditch effort. When a Predator has lost a battle, he uses his last few minutes of life to start the nuclear timer. Once the timer starts, it cannot be stopped. A nuclear explosion soon follows. With these few weapons, strength and intelligence, the Predator is a worthy opponent to any species.Â

On my hot toys Dog Alien model kit, the little peg attached to the wrist ball joint snapped off and is now loose. How do you recommend I re-attach it? Glue? What kind of Glue do you recommend? Or should I not use glue at all? I just need something that will strongly hold it in place. Any helpful answers would be awesome!!!

I can’t remember an example of what was actually in the short, but things along the lines of, “The other day, I had Blue Velvet stuck in my head.” The alien would then think about this man having a length of blue velvet lodged in his head. Basically the alien could not understand slang and took everything extremely literally. At the end, the alien was so disgusted with life on Earth (rather, his interpretation of it) that he sped off back to space. I think this was Looney Toons but I’m not 100% sure. UFO is simply defined by it’s name: Unidentified Flying Object. Hence if a strange bird flies across your house, it can fall into the category of U.F.O. If at the same time a clairvoyant sees an astral or even an ethereal object that he or she cannot identify, it can also be called U.F.O. And some of these sightings may be photographed whether they are physical or ethereal depending on the spiritual radiations of the observer, and if at the same time the observer is also the photographer. True UFOs, therefore, are never sighted physically. But they could be from other planets that inhabits our universe. The earth is not the only place with life within our universe or creation cycle. There are others whose inhabitants are either spiritually more mature (and therefore scientifically more advanced) and others that are below the earth in that respect. Most of those who visit and show anxiety over our penchant or pretended knowledge and tendency to self-destruct are coming to help to induce us, through some clairvoyants who are pure enough to listen to them, to warn us about the danger of the path we are threading. But they have no power to physically intervene in our affairs.
The earth, as the last planet whose inhabitants can be saved (at least a few of them) from the natural cycle of dissolution and a new birth, becomes then the last anchor of light radiations from the point of creating, where the fiat was given: Let there be light. (scientists correctly interpret this dictum as the Big Bang).
So there are no fears of alien invasion, but the changes will be wrought by the insurmountable WILL OF GOD the Father which brings about the purification in the tribulation. The changes will also affect the planes where the ascended masters are, who constantly are in contact with those who belong to their “congregation”, and hence are subject to their whims, caprices and part knowledge. For these masters are masters not even in the ethereal realm, in fact in the lowest ethereal for the most of them if at all; otherwise they are masters only in the astral realm. None has actually ascended further than this and their numerous gradations. Hence they all had to be close enough to the people they are communicating with – the channels – to reach them. Some may be high spirits trapped in these lower regions, they are able to transmit their perceptions and impressions, which are part truths and part distortions to their adherents.
Their lives and the possibility of further ascent depends entirely upon the attachments of their beliefs to their teachings. They themselves cannot ascend further until they are able to make amends in the errors they themselves have spread. Their teachings stem from their total belief in themselves ( at least for many of them) as God-men. This brought out the conceited impression that “the master is always right”. Hence the greatest hindrance to their own ascent is their own ego and vanity.
Another group that effect people on earth are great scientists and artists who are in the beyond and has so much scientific discoveries and artistic work that they are looking for earthly outlets. Musicians already have masterpieces composed waiting for those on earth who are open to receive them so that these people will be “inspired” to “compose” those works of genius. At the same time there are also those in the nether regions who also want their inspired works aired on earth. These people always have their target audience that they influence.
But time is coming, after the time of purification, where anything base cannot be allowed to penetrate the earth because the earth must have been enabled enough. This is the time of the promised Millenieum that “In the Light of Truth, the Grail Message” emphasizes so much.
With the advent of YouTube came imitators, which have flooded the internet with millions of user created videos including home captures of paranormal events and odd occurrences. Unfortunately, many of these videos are hoax, fake, or of such poor quality it’s hard to tell whether your looking at a ghost or a oddly cracked window. To combat the tireless search for some real ghost footage, try checking out these places for higher quality user submissions.
Ghost Hunter / Ghost Tour Websites – Find local ghost hunting or ghost tour websites and your bound to find a multimedia gallery with pictures, videos, and audio recordings of ghosts and entities. Orbs, ribbons, and apparitions are usually found with a quick search on Google. I’ve personally been on a few ghost tours in St. Augustine and have found many of their websites to have photo galleries of all the paranormal events that happen during their daily tours. Some of these pictures will scare you!
Above Top Secret – The forums on the ATS website feature a category devoted to the paranormal which have mature users debating the authenticity of ghost videos, pictures, events, or personal stories that members share. Many of the videos presented are shown to be hoax through Adobe Photoshop editing, creative camera angles, or tricks to fool the viewer.
Dailymotion – A website similar in style to YouTube, Dailymotion brings a variety of ghost and paranormal related videos to you. Do a search for scary ghost footage or amazing ghost videos and wade through the mountain of results. Going through these videos at night can sure get you jumpy, especially if your home alone.
YouTube – We can’t leave out YouTube, it’s the number one website for user generated content. Among this content is some excellent ghost footage, hauntings, true ghost stories and more. The problem with most of these sites is wading through the obvious fakes to find the authentic stuff. Often times you find the better video by looking at the amount of visitors the video has received.
Regardless of your choice, any of these websites will produce some seriously scary ghost footage that will either scare you, intrigue you, or perhaps implore you to engage in some healthy debate. Either way it’s a fun way to pass some spare time, and maybe open your eyes to something new.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse sits on the north end of Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, Florida. The current tower, which was built in 1874, rises to 165 feet above sea level. The original lighthouse, built in 1824, was approximately 500 yards northeast of the current lighthouse. Due to the receding shoreline, it fell into the ocean back in 1880.
Throughout its early history, the lighthouse employed up to three lightkeepers at a time. There was a head keeper and two assistants. In 1955, when the lighthouse was automated, there was no longer a need for lightkeepers and the last one left at that time. The lightkeepers, who would actually live on site, were replaced by lamplighters, who would tend the light but didn’t actually live there.
According to the lighthouse’s official website, there have been seven people who have died on the lighthouse grounds: three lightkeepers, a keeper’s wife and three young girls. Several of these are said to have died of natural causes. One man fell to his death from the original lighthouse in 1859, and the three girls died in a tragic drowning accident.
The lighthouse and its surrounding buildings have a long history of paranormal activity and stories of the hautings have been passed on and have been featured in popular television shows, books, and local lore for decades. Visitors and workers say they have seen moving shadows and heard voices along with unexplained sounds. Some tour guides claim they hear someone climbing the tower steps, but the footfalls fade away, and no one is ever there at the top of the tower. There is also said to be a little girl who likes to play pranks residing in the keeper’s house, a tall man in the basement, and a spirit who likes to play with the merchandise in the gift shop. One former keeper was infamous for enjoying his cigars. Today, the scent of his cigar can still be detected several times a week.
Several employees have reportedly seen a hazy male figure walking through the lighthouse. Footsteps from an unseen presence can be heard shuffling on the gravel and the steps outside the lighthouse. Other reports are of a woman seen on the lighthouse stairway or walking in the yard outside the buildings.
Perhaps the most famous tragic story is that of three young girls who died during the construction of the second lighthouse. The story says that there was a rail car or some type of vehicle that went from the light station to the ocean. The children liked to play on it and ride on it for fun. On July 10, 1873, the cart somehow ended up in the water. Five children fell into the water and some of the Workers managed to save a boy and a girl. Two of the construction superintendent’s daughters, Mary and Eliza, and a young black girl, either a servant or the daughter of a worker, drowned.
It’s said that today, the girls can be heard laughing in the tower late at night. The eldest of the construction superintendent’s daughters, Mary, has also been spotted wearing the same blue velvet dress and blue hair bow she was wearing when she died. Reports also say that the the figures of two little girls can sometimes be seen standing on the lighthouse catwalk.
For years there have been reports of a large dark, male spirit that hangs around the water collecting cisterns in the basement. Supposedly he was a sailor or a former lightkeeper who hung himself in the lighthouse in the 1930′s. According to the lighthouse’s website, there isn’t any proof or evidence that anyone ever hung him/herself there.
History says that the original owner of the lighthouse was forced to sell it to the government in 1865 because it was believed that the land under the lighthouse was receding and the ocean would eventually swallow it. The state offered to buy the lighthouse for alot less than it was worth and he refused to sell. The government then threatened to take the lighthouse via eminent domain and give him nothing. At this point, the former owner was outraged and vowed never to leave the lighthouse. Lighthouse staff say he seems to have kept his vow as his spirit is sometimes seen late at night walking in and around the property.
One of my favorite episodes of Ghost Hunters was filmed at the St. Augustine Lighthouse. The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) stopped by to see if they could prove or disprove any of the hauntings. During the episode, they caught a few interesting things on both video and audio. There was a female voice that seemed to say “help me” a few times on the audio recording. The video camera captured a dark figure moving really quickly up the circular staircase and then stopping to look over the railing down at the camera crew from the top floor. The figure then disappeared. When Jason and Grant went to investigate, they realized the door at the top which would be the only exit was padlocked from the inside. There was also a motion detection light that never came on until the TAPS guys got up there. Overall, with the evidence they captured, the guys determined that they really couldn’t prove the place wasn’t haunted.
The St. Augustine Lighthouse is currently owned and maintained by the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, Inc. The lighthouse is operational and is is an official, privately-owned, active aid to navigation. The museum is open to the public and the admission price funds preservation of the lighthouse and programs in maritime archeology and education. The lighthouse offers night tours of the site, though they don’t promise any ghosts.
