Do any of you think the world is going to end in 2012?

People think aliens are going to invade the earth in 2012, but I think there out of their minds. They say it just watching the movie. If they didn’t notice it was acting, now is the time to look at what i wrote. Plus, they said that scientists said the world was going to end in 2012. Aliens are not even real. What scientist who is smart and get pays a lot would think that?

People still think the DaVinci Code was something more than fiction, and that the Declaration of Independence is really a treasure map. Generally speaking, a lot of people think that they are intelligent, but are guided in their believes by Hollywood and conspiracy theories. Hell, some still think a man died on the cross for them 2000 years ago and rose from the dead on the third day. How can you reason with people like that?

Has anyone ever seen REAL ALIENS before?

Have any of you people ever seen real aliens or a UFO? Are they even real? I’ve heard aliens have been spotted in New Mexico before.
So, are aliens real or not?

Does anyone believe in UFO’S, Aliens, Government Secrets and such?

Do you think the government has advanced technology at Area 51? Some people say that they are about 50years ahead of us. I really don’t know if they are or not but there has been a lot of reports of strange things going on at Area 51. As far as UFO sightings I think the Military (particularly the Airforce) has to answer that question. Think about it the government has a lot of money for them. They are using all that money for such UFO’s that are spotted around the world. New technology. How to control gravity. Area 51 is too well known now. They would have moved any projects to an undisclosed location. These would be listed under black projects if they existed so no one would answer anything. The B-2 bomber was a black project that was often mistaken for a UFO.

This theory surfaces from time to time usually with the assistance of some pyramididiot who wants to get publicity for a book or documentary that has been compiled with snippets of reality, mixed up with a lot of unsubstantiated hypotheses and a minuscule dash of fact.
The answer is simply no. There has by now been more than sufficient factual data collected, tests done using the lastest technology, as well as actual evidence left by the ancient Egyptians to debunk this myth.
It seems to be part of the human psyche that even when we see clear proof of something we need to look for the mystery in it.

Yes the End is very near. I think WW3 is very soon…either with North Korea or Iran. But now that Bush is out of office maybee that war will be delayed. Who knows Obama might even get assasinated after he gets into office…putting some jackass in power that is a Warhead idiot. Why do we always assume the presence of water on other planets means it can support alien life?

I understand it’s because life on Earth is based on water and we know how that works to a certain extent but no one ever seems to mention the possibility of alien beings being formed of some other chemical substance. Are there any substances that would be a good base chemical for a living being and has anyone ever investigated this?

You’re right there is some bias here, we expect aliens to need water because everything on earth needs it to live. Science fiction authors often discuss very different life forms, however there are some restrictions. Life even if it doesnt need water as much as we do will be Carbon based – scientists have suggested other life could be Silicon based but its not just not realistic. Carbon is unique among the elements for its ability to bond with up to 4 other elements at once.

You can easily imagine some alien having acid for blood (now where have I seen that) but if its acidic wouldnt it be dangerous to organic materials? If they evolved from simpler organisms wouldnt the harsh acid dissolve them?

We look at water hoping we’ll find life there because though there may be other chemical solutions that can form life we know carbon based life forms needing water to live as possible – we are them. Its just a basis for comparison and makes the search for alien life simpler. If we can find water based life we can then have a look to see if its possible to build complex, replicating molecules from anything else. regards.
