Why are astronomers so quick to discredit UFO sightings and alien abductions?

The answer is because of the lack of evidence.
Why don’t we ever see any clear, unequivocal photos of flying saucers? All we have are the hoaxes, like the upside-down chicken feeder deliberated faked to look like a space ship.
Why don’t the space aliens ever appear to responsible, credible people? Why is it only cranks who see them by accident in remote locations? Why can none of those who get kidnaped by aliens ever satisfactorily explain how they went to the bathroom during their captivity?
Why don’t we ever come across even a single piece of debris that’s clearly of extraterrestrial origin, such as a computer chip clearly not designed on earth?
I adopt as my rallying cry the call of my favorite author, the late Isaac Asimov. When he told people that he didn’t believe in UFOs and a variety of other pseudo-scientific fantasies, someone asked him, “Dr. Asimov, do you believe in ANYTHING?”
“Yes!” he replied. “I believe in evidence! I will believe any proposition, no matter how unlikely and unusual it may be, provided it is supported by evidence. But the more extreme the claim, the more compelling the evidence must be!”
I think most astronomers would tell you that this is their answer.

In India and China UFO sightings have increased in many folds. Many say the Chinese and Indian Governments are being contacted by the Extra Terrestrials.
In recent days most UFO activities have been seen in those countries who have indigenously developed Nuke capabilities.
When asked if these extra-terrestrials will show up in reality in 2012, the answers remote viewers are giving is: they will reveal themselves in such a way that none of us scared. They will reveal themselves only if they have to. As our science and technology progresses, we are destined to see them and interact with them any way.

The following five conditions are considered to be natural phenomena capable of accounting for unexplained “sightings” and other “UFO-related” events:
St. Elmo’s fire
Not an uncommon sight aboard ships at sea, this unique phenomenon appears as an eerie greenish glow that crawls along masts, railings flagpoles and other wooden or metallic surfaces.
The Aurora Borealis
Most commonly called the “Northern Lights” this atmospheric phenomenon is visible in the northernmost latitudes of the earth. Russia, Canada, Chile, Argentina and the Scandinavian countries all regularly report visibility of the Northern Lights.
The Aurora Australis
Near the southernmost latitudes of the earth the Aurora Australis or Southern Lights, like its northern hemisphere equivalent, is visible in the late evening skies of southern Australia and the Antarctic continent as reported by scientific crews stationed in the Antarctic region.
Earthquake Lights
A more recently identified phenomenon called earthquake lights result from the sudden massive release of energy during an earthquake or tremor. These dull reddish waves of light, brilliant sparkling balls or dimly lit flashes are more likely to be visible during quakes in very late evening hours or when the earthquake occurs at night as have in Lima, Peru and Cali, Colombia.
Volcanic Eruption-related Phenomena
Another more recently identified phenomenon is the visible occurrence of lightning flashes or other visible phenomenon immediately before, during or after a volcanic eruption. Lately, during eruptions of fairly active volcanoes such as Tungurahua in Ecuador or Galeras in Pasto, Colombia, visible phenomena have been witnessed by hundreds of people from many different walks of life.

Do you believe in unidentified flying objects and believe that our government has not told us everything about UFO’s that they have knowledge of?
What is the truth about these unidentified flying objects in your mind? Are you confused or do you just think that these so called sightings are nothing more than a hoax that others try and get others to believe in? Or rather, do you believe that there certainly could be some truth to UFO’s?

Those who remember this happening still believe that there was evidence that pointed to the fact that this UFO sighting in Roswell was real and that there was without doubt, an alien aircraft that really did crash which left behind material proof that was recovered from that crash site.
Those who believe in UFO’s also include a former astronaut who was a part of Apollo 14, who reportedly interacted with some very high-ranking officers from the military who even admitted that they had first hand involvement with alien hardware along with alien technology. There is also others who have knowledge and experience with our radar systems who will tell you that is a commonality for our air-traffic controllers see more on their radar screens than just they typical aircraft as we all know.
Thousands of Arizonans have seen an Arizona UFO. Thousands were fortunate enough to see the famous Phoenix Lights. If you have never read the story about the Phoenix Lights before, it really is something that makes you wonder if UFO’s really do exist.
Even if you are the most skeptical person when it comes to an Arizona UFO, or anywhere else for that matter, you might just have a different opinion once you read about this major event that took place on March 13th, 1997 when thousands of people witnessed what was believed to be a UFO sighting in Arizona.
On the night that this took place, there were many witnesses who video taped the UFO sighting that happened right here in Phoenix. Local residents reported that they witnessed what was described as appearing and disappearing UFO lights that hovered above the city near the Estrella Mountains.
The local news and the national news both jumped on the UFO story that took place here in Arizona and it’s still a very popular news topic in various media streams such as the History Channel, who recently did a story on UFO’s that I have personally seen and appreciated.
It was such an amazing story that the national news television stations couldn’t cover it up like many have done in the past.
There are those who believe that these so called UFO’s in Arizona were just flares that resembled unidentified flying objects but there are many more people who still believe that the Phoenix Lights and other sightings of a Arizona UFO are the real thing.
If you ask others, believing in an AZ extra terrestrial or anywhere else is not a hoax…..it is something that is very real.
There are many other reports of these unidentified flying objects here in Arizona as well as other states, too.
Just as recent as January 9th, 2007, there was yet another witness who was driving in the east valley when he saw some lights that were set low in the sky. This witness believes that these peculiar lights were in the area Gold Canyon, Arizona, which is approximately 35 minutes from the Phoenix metro area.
Witnesses described the lights as being lined up as if they were in a straight line. The witness also described the far left light turning on and then turning off.
