Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, is arguably the most famous and celebrated incidents "UFO". Certainly, if beings from other systems parcels have been able to venture here, they must be more advanced in technology than they are now. It's the only reason.
Given humanity has made progress over the last two hundred years, the exponential rate of progress in the last twenty years, then the possibility Life on other planets in other solar systems is becoming increasingly plausible.
