Is There Censorship When It Comes To Paranormal Events?
Back in the “old days” of the 40s, 50s, even 60s, newspapers and TV stations wouldn’t hesitate to print/broadcast stories about UFOs, flying men, big hairy monsters, or any other unexplainable weirdness. But now, at least in the US, we don’t hear about such things any more.
All during the 90s Mexico City had a massive UFO flap– but of course we didn’t hear or read anything about that. Now things are explained away as mundane things like hoaxes, weather balloons, or not being mentioned at all. Why? Are US papers being censored? If so, why and by whom?
There is no forced censorship. The news media decides for themselves what to report. The reason it seems there is censorship is many news agencies refuse to report anything that cannot be proved.
In my area we have had several reports of UFOs which there was there was unidentified aircraft so the news media did report it because the government denied at first they had no aircraft in the area at that time, it took several local news agencies reporting on this real UFO in this area until finally the government did admit that they were flying secret experimental aircraft and thus could not comment any further.
Also in my area many people have killed what they believed to be a Chupracobra and the media took pictures and made arrangements for scientist at a University to see what it was and each and every time it turned out to be a skinny, unhealthy, diseased, coyote.
News agencies also report Big Foot sightings in our area, but these sightings cannot be substantiated so the reporters report with laughter while reporting.
