Very strange occurence in Halo 2 ( On 360) Image is overlaid on the screen – is it supposed to be there??
Sometimes when I am playing Halo 2 on my 360, an image will be overlaid on top half of the screen. Most objects ar still visible, but it has been getting darker and harder to see through. It looks like there are actually covenant alien shapes in the picture, so I know its not a video error, what could it be? Is it supposed to be there? (I havnt finished the game yet, so maybe its a part of the story?)
The image disappears completely sometimes, so I can gurantee its a software thing – my tv cant get burn in cause its a CRT, and the image only shows up while playing the game.

No don’t worry about it at all, I know exactly what your talking about. Your going to have to live with it, as I learned from the Bungie forums recently, they said that this occurs because when they were working on the Backwards Compatibility codes for Halo 2, there was a few errors that caused this overlay to happen. Like when you aim at a certain spot, it overlays that exact same spot you were aiming over the actual screen you are playing on. It gets annoying, but sorry dude.
