1st contact: should ET help us figure out what alien abduction/UFO stories were true?
If we ever manage to make first contact with advanced civilization from beyond our own horizons, do you think it would seem rude if we asked them for help in determining which UFO/Alien stories from our cultural history might be true and which might be false? I’m picturing a demonstration of their various sorts of craft showing off their maneuverability in our airspace – it should be no problem identifying real, pre-contact UFO encounters from that, even if only in the minds of people who remember them.

Well there would be many variables. Communication would be one of them.People always assumes they will be smarter than us,but what if they aren’t? What if they are war like? What if they are as different as we are on earth?In that I mean from various planets?With that said,if we did luck out and get ones that were of higher intelligence then yes I do think they could tell us. Interesting question.
