If the government released proof that aliens,UFOs and stuff where real…?

Your question is interesting. Do we need to rely on any government to give us “proof?” Personally, I find most government “proof” suspect. Maybe I’m just jaded. However, looking at the vastness of the universe we just cannot assume we are the only intelligent, and I use that term loosely, beings in same universe.
Why couldn’t there be more planets similar to earth, or that support life of some sort? And why couldn’t they have found a means to transport themselves the many light years to our planet? My mind cannot comprehend what it would take to travel those distances but I’m sure there are minds out there that can.
Back to your question. What would I do? I would not trust the government to give me anything factual. However, should I come across an alien in my day to day business I would do my best to communicate with them, then learn as much as possible about them, their planet, especially, how they got here.
