Okay seriously, am I the only one tired of hearing the media/people talk about “UFOs”?
Just wondering. It’s obvious that the USA has top secret bases/military installations where they are continually researching, developing and testing new “secret aircraft” for military purposes. A lot of these silly sightings are seen, conveniently enough, either around these bases or in the flight paths from base to base.
I’m not trying to start an argument…I’m just trying to understand people’s reasoning here. It’s obvious that the military researched, tested and developed aircraft like the B2 Bomber, F-117, F-22, etc. at these various “secret bases” before bringing them out into the public. The F-22 resembles a lot of fighter planes in design, and looks like a plane. The F-117 is a little harder to distinguish, especially to people who know little about recent planes. The B2 would be a “UFO” to a lot of people who don’t know about it…and there are quite a few people out there that don’t even know there are “bases” developing these aircraft.
The same thing for countries all around the world who have a stronger military presence….hence, sightings all over the world. Of course, they would want to test their “secret aircraft” without the world seeing, until they are ready for the world to know about it. Plus, we seem to be in a big race with all of the world about “who can build the better military plane?” It just strikes me as odd…
UFO = Unidentified Flying Object. An unknown aircraft, ship or flying device. That word seems to mean “flying saucer” automatically in half of the world’s minds, nowadays.
I’ve seen all kinds of silly t.v. broadcasts on the History Channel and such. They scramble jets…and the “UFO‘s” disappear. We know this technology as Stealth, though presently our (at least current what is shared with the public) Stealth technology allows us to barely show up on any radar.
The funny thing is…with all of this anti-aircraft technology…and an American SR-71 Blackbird was eventually shot down; how come no genius shoots one of these UFO‘s down? Obviously they are in violation of airspace, if they are not acknowledging themselves by radio to any military/air traffic control requests. But yet…I haven’t heard of one single instance where anyone has shot one of these “UFOs” down.
We have heat-seeking missiles, we have missiles that lock onto targets by coordinates and that use satellites for navigation; we have the capability to shoot an object down, even up into the edges of space. This just seems absurd to me.

I’m tired of watching it on the history channel for 2 hours and then they still don’t figure it out.
