nightmare followed by possible alien encounter?

Early this morning while I was sleeping, I had a terrible nightmare about the world ending. I was with a huge group of people, some of whom I knew while others I did not. Intuitively in my dream, I knew that we were waiting for the clock to strike 12:00am on 21 December 2012 (the proposed “end of the world”). Nothing happened as we all waited in silence, and we waited and waited. Finally when the clocks said, and I remember this vividly, 1:47am, myself, along with my boyfriend and my family turned to leave the group. When we were about 1000 yards away from the gathering place, I looked to the sky and saw what I thought was a plane, but there was a trail behind it as it traveled higher up into the atmosphere. I could discern that the craft had a triangle shape with a light on each corner. Not even a moment later, while still looking skyward, I saw what I thought to be another plane, but it was heading downward toward the earth. This second plane, I’m guessing, was a meteor on a collision course with our planet. I watched as it came closer and closer and pass overhead until it impacted about three miles away. There was a huge explosion that lit up the entire sky, and we could feel the earth shaking. My family and I ducked for cover behind the nearest building.

I woke up and immediately sat upright and was crying. I’ve had really graphic nightmares before, including another about the end of the world earlier this month, so my first instinct was to lay back down and cuddle with my boyfriend. I rolled over toward him in bed and looked at the clock. It was 3:37am. Even though he was holding me and telling me that everything was ok, I still felt really shaken up and completely unnerved. I felt almost like someone else could feel my mental unrest and was trying to keep me trapped in it.

I started looking around the room to focus on something else so that I could get back to sleep, and my eyes fell upon the window that faces our backyard. We keep the blinds closed, but at night you can see bits of starlight and moonlight through the little cracks, especially when laying in bed. This morning, however, I also noticed a bright green aura right outside the window. I was paralyzed in fear. It appeared as if there was an orb or a head to the lower right corner of the window (perhaps something standing right outside with both hands on the outside ledge trying to look inside), and then a few minutes later I noticed a tall thin green aura (they were the same color) on the left side of the window. If these were beings standing outside the window, the first would have been about four feet tall and the second around seven or eight feet. I could see the green aura through the window for at least ten minutes. I was laying on my back, trying to remain as motionless as possible while keeping an eye on my “visitors.” I would turn my head away from the window, count to ten, and then turn back to see if they were there every minute or so, until they just finally disappeared as quickly as they came. I did not bother waking my boyfriend back up to look because he works at seven every morning, and I was so scared I tried to remain motionless.

I have seen UFO‘s before, and I am quite open-minded toward the unknown. Before my father and I stopped talking, he had described incidents such as this, but some were even more vivid than mine this morning. He said that “they” told him they were his guardians. I do not think that my visitors would be considered my guardians, as I had just had a tremendously shaking nightmare. Could they have been transmitting psychic predictions while I was sleeping? Or maybe my sub-conscious picked up on their presence which is why I had the nightmare? And maybe the two events are completely unrelated! Any ideas?
When I say I have seen UFOs, I mean I have seen different kinds of flying ships at various times throughout my life. I have seen cigar shaped glowing things when I was little (around five). I have seen flying orbs that do not obey the laws of physics (ie flight path). I have also seen triangular ships with flashing lights around the edges.

I stay away from anything that could be too scary, like slasher films, documentaries on Nostradamus, etc. I have a very active imagination and extremely vivid and terrifying nightmares at least once a month. I know (mostly) its in my head…

I have already checked and double-checked the area of my backyard that is visible from my window. I have ruled out anything that was back there as being misinterpreted as something otherworldly. There is one bamboo stalk against the house in front of the window, but all the bamboo plants are discernible. It appeared as if there was a light source directly outside the window.

I don’t know, maybe I’m crazy.
